Maintenance Engineer

Due to continued expansion, we''re recruiting an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our well established client. Job Duties: Provide support to the Workshop Manager. Perform hydrotesting, painting, packing, and assembly tasks as required of products. Read and understand bespoke engineering drawings. Mechanical assembly of products consisting of structural components, pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, manipulators, specialist external equipment etc. Assisting with the build of fabricated assemblies. Using a variety of hand and power tools in assembly and quality assurance. Ensure production quality standards are upheld and delivery deadlines are consistently met. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive recommendations. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to Health and Safety procedures and policies. Demonstrate good housekeeping practices. Undertake upgrades and general maintenance across all company facilities as and when time permits. Requirements: Apprentice trained or time served. City and Guilds level 2 or 3 in Engineering. Relevant Industry Experience. Salary: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour + regular overtime available at premium rate. Working hours: 06:55am 15:25pm Monday to Thursday and 06:55am 12:55pm on Fridays. This is a Full time, Permanent ..... full job details .....
