We''re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team based in Witham, Essex. The project you will be working on is a large £100m+ MOD project in Suffolk (near Ipswich) and will commence pre construction activities in site based offices later this year. Location: Witham, Essex. The project location is Suffolk (near Ipswich) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time with flexible hours available What will you be responsible for? As a Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be working within the Commercial team. The project is £100m+ but is split into 14 separate assets. Some are new build, others are refurbishment or repurposing and you will be responsible for 1 or a number of these. Your day to day will include: Working alongside the project delivery team, you will ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors. Having exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery You will manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement and be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome.
