Senior Tax Consultant

In a great opportunity to develop your career, we have a vacancy for a Senior Tax Consultant (Personal Tax). You would join a successful team focused on delivering excellent service to our clients. You will have a minimum of three years’ experience in compliance work such as annual returns, HMRC processes and P11ds. You may be ATT/CTA qualified, studying towards the qualifications or simply qualified by experience. In the role, there will be opportunities to support and share your knowledge with more junior team members.Location:

TaxGeneral Responsibilities
Managing your own varied portfolio of clientsPreparing annual tax returns for individuals and partnerships including electronic filing of returnsCorresponding with HM Revenue and Customs as required, including assisting with any enquiries raisedLiaising directly with clients (and third parties where necessary) to obtain all information to complete returnsLiaising with accounts team members to ensure timely servicePreparing P11d forms – liaising with colleagues to gather the necessary information efficientlyPreparing capital gains tax computations and electronic filing of reportsChecking PAYE codesProviding advice to clients in respect of personal taxesTax research as necessarySupporting the other tax professionals across the practiceInvolved with the training of more junior tax team membersSkills and Qualities
ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent by experienceMinimum three years’ experience in a compliance roleFocused on meeting deadlines through effective multi-taskingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsCommercial approach to workExperience of Iris suite of programsExperience of Microsoft SuitePersonal Skills
