The Role
We are partnering with a global tech and media giant to hire a Senior Data Engineer. You will build and scale the massive data pipelines that track how millions of users interact with the platform across smart TVs, gaming consoles, and major social media apps.

What You''ll Do

• Architect, build, and maintain complex, high-volume data pipelines.
• Act as a technical leader to set engineering standards and best practices.
• Partner with Product Managers and Data Scientists to turn business requests into reliable data models.
• Mentor junior engineers and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.

What You Need

• Heavy, hands-on coding experience with Scala, SQL, and dbt.
• Deep expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-based data architecture.
• Proven ability to build systems that can process massive amounts of data efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to lead projects and align with cross-functional teams.

Logistics

• Location: 100% Remote within the UK.
• Hours: Must align with Central European (CET) or GMT working hours.
