They pride themselves on long-standing client relationships and offer a genuinely supportive environment where you can develop your expertise and take on increasing responsibility.In this position, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, preparing and reviewing annual accounts, tax computations, VAT returns, and forecasts. You will work closely with businesses, offering practical advice and identifying planning opportunities. The role will also involve visiting clients on-site, attending local events, and becoming a known and trusted point of contact within the community.You will additionally be involved in reviewing bookkeeping work, ensuring accounting records are kept accurate and up to date, and drafting correspondence for clients and HMRC. Exposure to capital taxes such as inheritance tax and capital gains tax will also form part of the portfolio.
