Job Title: SEN Tutor - GCSE Maths and English Location: Manchester Job Type: Part-time/Temporary Hourly: 25- 35 Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Tutor to work with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the delivery of GCSE Maths and English education. The successful candidate will work in a supportive and nurturing environment, providing tailored tuition that meets the individual learning needs of students, promoting academic progress, and supporting personal development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in GCSE Maths and English, tailored to the specific needs of students with SEMH and ASD. Provide one-to-one or small group tutoring, using a range of strategies to support learning and engagement. Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching approaches based on student assessments and ongoing progress monitoring. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting emotional well-being and supporting students'' social development. Implement appropriate behavioural strategies to support students with SEMH and ASD, ensuring their needs are met within the learning environment. Use a variety of resources, including visual aids, practical tasks, and technology, to support students'' learning styles.
