Job Title: Lecturer / Assessor - Groundworker / CivilsLocation: BournmouthContract: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £30,000 - £40,374 per annumSector: Further Education / ConstructionOverviewA Further Education College is seeking a Trainer/Assessor in Groundworks and Civils to deliver both practical and theory-based teaching across Level 2 programmes, apprenticeships and part-time courses. The role includes assessment of learner competence and contributing to curriculum development.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and assess Level 2 Groundworks and Apprenticeship programmesTeach brickwork, drainage, barriers, reinstatement, block paving and concretingTutor and/or Course Lead for full-time and apprenticeship groupsConduct internal verification and liaise with awarding bodiesSupport curriculum development and course planningParticipate in open days, marketing and employer engagementMaintain workshop standards and order materialsEnsure health and safety and quality standards are metEssential RequirementsLevel 2 (or equivalent) in English and MathsLevel 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Groundworks or Civil EngineeringIndustry experience in domestic and commercial groundworksPlant operation experience (e.g. digger, dumper)Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 yearsStrong behaviour management and delivery skillsBenefits39.5 days annual leave + bank holidaysAdditional leave over ChristmasTeachers'' Pension SchemeRetail discount schemesOngoing CPD and teaching ..... full job details .....
