This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in their work and is looking to develop within a thriving production environment where quality and precision are paramount.The successful CNC Turner / CNC Machinist will be capable of both setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality machined components. Experience programming Fanuc controls is highly desirable and would be a significant advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC lathes to produce precision-machined components to tight tolerancesWrite and edit part programmes using Fanuc controls (conversational and/or G-code)Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsSelect and set appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds and cutting parametersCarry out first-off and in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges)Maintain consistent quality standards and ensure components meet customer specificationsPerform routine machine maintenance and report any faults or tooling issues promptlyWork efficiently within a ..... full job details .....
