HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)Chesterfield£14.50 per hourOvertime paid at £21.75 per hour after 36 hours workedTemporary AssignmentThorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) on behalf of a well-established business based in the Chesterfield area.This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable driver with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card who is looking for ongoing Monday to Friday work with 7:00am starts.The Role:• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries and collections• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently• Completing delivery paperwork and transport documentation accurately• Providing a professional service when representing the business• Complying with all driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations• Supporting loading and unloading activities where requiredThe Candidate:• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence• Valid CPC Qualification Card• Valid Digital Tachograph Card• Previous HGV driving experience• Maximum of 3 penalty points preferred• Experience driving manual vehicles• Good geographical knowledge• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Strong awareness of health and safety and road transport legislationWhat''s in it for you?• £14.50 per hour• Overtime paid at £21.75 per hour after 36 hours worked• Monday to Friday work• 7:00am starts• Weekly pay• ..... full job details .....
