An established manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires a production planner.

Duties:

• Analyse and plan production schedules, processes, documentation, tools, plant and computer software.
• Develop and maintain an MRP sysytem along with senior management.
• Review and evaluate new and existing equipment and processes.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure the timely scheduling of raw materials.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years experience of production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Good IT skills, specifically an advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of MRP systems, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Hours:

• 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 12.30pm Friday.

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
