Group Health & Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Group Health & Safety Manager to take overall responsibility for health, safety, and compliance across all business units within our organisation. This is a pivotal role covering sites across London and the South East, ensuring that our teams operate to the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

As Group Health & Safety Manager, you will lead on health and safety strategy, compliance, and auditing across the company. You will provide expert advice to senior leadership, manage risk, and ensure a proactive safety culture is embedded throughout all sites and operations.

• Oversee all aspects of health, safety, and compliance across multiple sites within London and the South East.

• Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety policies, procedures, and best practice.

• Lead regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

• Provide expert guidance to managers and site teams on all aspects of health and safety.

• Deliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to promote a strong safety culture.

• Investigate incidents and accidents, producing reports and recommending improvements.

• Work closely with directors and senior management to align health & safety with company objectives.

• Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety role, ideally across multiple sites or business units.

• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.

• Experience in auditing, inspections, and risk management.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
