We are looking for a Finance Manager (Environment and Communities) this role will be: EN1 3XY. The right candidate will: A vacancy has arisen in the Finance Business Partnering team for a Finance Manager to lead on the financial support provided to the Council and senior management in respect of Environment and Communities. The role reports to the Head of Finance and is the finance lead supporting these service areas, whilst overseeing a team of 5 staff. Key deliverables and responsibilities of the role are: Provide expert financial advice and support to the Environment and Communities Directorate in the provision of accurate and timely financial information including developing strategic financial plans, budget setting, financial reporting and supporting and challenging decision making. To provide information using analysis that clearly presents the financial performance, cost drivers, levers for change and implications to senior management and non-financial staff. To go beyond the financial information, explore what operations or activities lead to the financial outputs and hence understand the service in-depth.
