About The RoleAs a Full Stack Web Developer, you will contribute to designing and developing web applications that support research publication management. You will work on both frontend and backend tasks, collaborating with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
Draft clear technical documentation for features
Develop, test, and maintain application components using modern web technologies
Uphold code quality through reviews and inclusive standards
Collaborate with teammates in Agile workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Stay informed about evolving web technologies and best practices
Deliver features including publication management, user authentication, and data visualization
Maintain and optimize existing systems for security and performance
Requirements
Experience with PHP and Laravel or similar frameworks
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and UI development
Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, responsive design, and RESTful APIs
Understanding of version control (Git) and development tools
Awareness of testing practices (e.g., PHPUnit, Jest) and CI/CD workflows
Ability to integrate third-party APIs and services
