Meeting the requirements of a Senior Electrical Engineer grade with a proven track record in delivering projects aligned with client expectations.Work in a joint leadership capacity within a multidisciplinary team, providing design and technical advice as a project manager on various projects.Reviewing design programmes and ensuring sufficient resources to complete works on time, within budget, and to technical standards.Work independently on all technical aspects of your discipline or with specific specialist experience.Interpret client needs and project requirements to ensure full delivery.Promote WSP’s capabilities and expertise regionally.Supervise detailed designs and oversee the work of others in this area.Lead feasibility studies for projects, considering discipline-specific aspects.Direct the production of detailed and performance specifications, reviewed by colleagues prior to issue.Develop and manage junior staff members.What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
A proven track record of delivering diverse projects in scale and sector, with North East experience being advantageous.Ability to engage with clients, contractors, and design teams effectively.Proficiency in sketching and communicating technical details graphically.Understanding of applicable regulations and ability to demonstrate compliance through calculations.Experience with electrical design software and Revit MEP for project work.Familiarity with BIM360 as a collaboration and review tool.Eligibility to obtain UK Security Check (SC).Qualifications:
BEng/BSc/MEng in relevant engineering discipline.Chartership with CIBSE / IET / Engineering Council or working towards it.Revit MEP training applied to the discipline.Don’t meet all criteria?
