As an HGV Technician, you''ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a busy fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and ready for operation.

Your duties will include:

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs and trailers
• Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues efficiently
• MOT preparation and compliance work
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
• Working to high standards of safety and workmanship

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
• Good understanding of HGV maintenance and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• IRTEC accreditation is advantageous but not essential
