Gateley Birmingham, United KingdomResidential Conveyancer role in Gateley’s Birmingham office.Responsibilities
The role is for an experienced residential conveyancer to work on a permanent basis within the part exchange team of the residential development unit in Birmingham. You should be able to run a transaction from initial instruction unaided and have experience of conveyancing both leasehold and freehold properties.Deal with a wide range of transactions including unregistered properties bought and sold by way of part exchange by national housebuilders as part of their plot sales procedure. Draft and send conveyancing paperwork, respond to pre-contract enquiries, review and report on title and searches, negotiate and exchange contracts, and handle completions. Complete necessary post-completion formalities including SDLT and Land Registry registrations. No prior experience of part exchange or plot sales is necessary.The caseload is expected to reflect quick turnaround times, as clients require transactions to be dealt with quickly and efficiently.The Team
