Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Stores Driver to join Berneslai Homes on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday. The Role To drive vehicles up to and including 3 tonnes carrying capacity. To carry out relevant vehicle checks to ensure that the vehicle meets with legislative road transport standards. To transport materials between the depot, properties and agreed locations around the Borough To collect materials from our suppliers and deliver to locations around the Borough To be responsible for ensuing all materials for delivery are secured on the vehicle using the appropriate straps, anchor points and containers. To assist with picking orders for delivery Stock rotation and housekeeping in the Stores area Experience and Skills Minimum 2 years driving experience loading and delivering goods Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines Ability to organise own workload and effectively prioritise tasks Knowledge of Health and Safety and manual Handling Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service, additional hours maybe required Hours - 7:30am to 3:30pm (Wednesday to Friday).
