We are recruiting for an organised and proactive Commercial Legal Assistant / Secretary to join a busy and growing legal team in Coventry.This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and previous legal support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment. You will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to solicitors, helping ensure the smooth running of the department and delivering excellent service to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondenceManaging diaries, scheduling meetings and coordinating appointmentsHandling telephone calls and emails professionally as a first point of contact for clientsMaintaining and updating case files and document management systemsAssisting with billing, invoicing and general financial administrationConducting basic legal research and preparing reports where requiredObtaining title documents from the Land Registry and ordering searchesEnsuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection requirementsSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant (commercial law experience preferred)Excellent organisational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing documentsProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systemsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work ..... full job details .....
