Operations and Governance OfficerLocation: London (Hybrid – 2 days office, Wednesday essential)Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)Salary: £36,158 – £44,625 per year (depending on experience) plus benefitsAre you anorganised and proactive professional who thrives in a varied role, to support in delivering excellence across governance, finance, HR and operations.We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations and Governance Officer to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a busy, purpose-driven organisation. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, you will support governance processes, help manage income streams, assist with HR and recruitment, and ensure internal systems run smoothly.What you’ll be doing
Coordinating trustee and governance activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing papers and ensuring compliance requirements are metMonitoring and reporting on income streams, budgets and financial processesSupporting fundraising administration, maintaining databases and assisting with applicationsProviding recruitment and HR support, including onboarding and staff surveysHelping to deliver internal events, staff forums and awaydaysOffering cross-team administrative support to keep projects and operations on trackWhat we’re looking for
We welcome applications from people with:Experience in administration across operations, governance, finance, HR or fundraisingStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailConfidence using Excel and digital systems, with a willingness to learn new toolsClear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levelsA proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhat you’ll gain
