Location: Aylesbury
Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 17:00–05:00 (occasional Saturday overtime)

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking logistics company that specialises in distribution, warehousing, and contract logistics. With a strong focus on sustainability, compliance, and operational excellence, this company is a recognised leader in its field.

They are currently seeking a Control Tower Supervisor to oversee their night-time delivery operations across the UK. This is a key role within the Transport operation, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient transport execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor night-time transport operations, ensuring deliveries meet performance and compliance standards.
• Lead and support a team of drivers, addressing performance issues and ensuring alignment with planning expectations.
• Oversee driver hours, vehicle defects, and infringements in line with transport regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams including compliance and contract management to maintain high standards.
• Use operational data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain service quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in transport or logistics operations, ideally within a night shift environment.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator, especially over the phone.
• Knowledge of transport compliance and driver regulations.
• Proactive and solutions-focused, with a passion for operational excellence.
