Part of the Financial Lines and PI offerings, expanding the pre-existing book and global coverage to write on Lloyd’s and company stamps. Senior Underwriter – MediaResponsibilities
Underwrite insurance risks in accordance with the Business Plan and the personal authority to meet business objectivesBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including customers, brokers, business partners and colleagues, to maximise influenceDevelop relationships in line with the Business Plan to support the achievement of business objectivesParticipate fully and use your expertise to shape and develop strategy, knowledge and best practicePositively promote the department, division and company as a whole, in order to maximise brand leverageAdhere to underwriting standards, instructions and good practice to minimise risk and maximise efficiencyActively keep abreast of market dynamics and demonstrate market cycle awareness to be able to operate effectively and appropriatelyAbout You
Prior experience within media underwriting, preferably globalCommercial ability to understand the key profit drivers to maximise long term wealth for our shareholdersExcellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skillsThe ability to influence actions and attitudes of others through leading by exampleGood negotiating skills, innovative in underwriting approach and programme designWhy QBE?
