The successful candidate will lead the strategic and operational management of the Trust''s estate, ensuring all school sites are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards. The role includes responsibility for health and safety, capital and other infrastructure-related projects, facilities management, sustainability, and emergency planning.We are looking for someone who will:Take a lead in the design and delivery of our Estates and Sustainability StrategyDevelop and improve the Trust estates and support site staff teams, ensuring effective and efficient management of the school sites and groundsEnsure all aspects of Health and Safety (legislation and implementation) are reflected in the highest of standards, ensuring all schools in the Trust are safe and legally compliantEnsure a high level of performance from all school contractsDeliver our annual capital programme in excess of 800,000 per annumProject manage, and/or work closely with external surveyors and project managers, on school refurbishment and building improvement worksTravel independently to all the schools currently within our Trust, as well as any new schools who may join us in the future.
