Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking for a Design Engineer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. ABOUT THE COMPANY: The company specialises in delivering both precision machining and sub-contract machining solutions, defence project work and the design and manufacture of superior quality work-holding solutions. PAY: 40,000 - 45,000 per year (Depending on experience) WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday (07:15am until 16:15 PM) and Friday (07:15 am until 12:15 PM) - Flexible for the right person. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the design and development of mechanical components using SolidWorks and Siemens NX. Collaborate with senior engineers to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct design reviews and participate in project planning meetings. Support the development of work holding solutions and machine tool setups. Perform analysis and testing of prototypes to ensure compliance with specifications and performance standards.
