Adults Safeguarding Senior Social Worker Swansea Pay rate up to £41.58 Umbrella We are looking for a temporary agency social worker for a 1 x full time position within our Adults Safeguarding team to join Swansea City Council Adults Services dept. Rate of pay is £33 (PAYE), Umbrella rate (£41.58). This role involves working in a small team supporting with a backlog. This is a temporary position for 3 months initially. Social Worker will need to be office based in the Guildhall, Swansea on Tuesday''s and Wednesday''s The remainder of the week can be home based. This is full time position of 37 hours. The Adult Safeguarding Team is a busy dynamic Team. The team deal with Adult at Risk Reports, undertaking Section 126 enquiries in line with the All-Wales Safeguarding Procedures. The Team also provides advice and guidance on safeguarding issues, attends Multi-agency Safeguarding Meetings e.g. MAPPA and MARAC, undertakes suicide prevention work and is a keen advocate developing preventative ways of keeping citizens in Swansea safe from harm. Using a person-centred collaborative approach, the Adult Safeguarding Team can provide consistent advice and guidance to Colleagues, the Citizens of Swansea and Partner Agencies, in line with the Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
