RMS are currently recruiting for an Claims Handler to join a busy automotive logistics operation based in Corby. Working under the supervision and coordination of the Administration Manager, you will play a key role in resolving all customer queries and complaints. Location: CorbyContract Type: PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, Day ShiftPay Rate: £14.45 per hour (Overtime and unsociable hours paid at premium rates) Key Responsibilities of the role: Manage and process all damage claims via relevant carriers and the OBT platform, ensuring accuracy and timely resolutionAssess and process non-conforming damage claims through warranty channelsAct as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates and managing expectationsRaise and manage repair jobs for authorised claimsOrder and manage parts for repairs, ensuring cost efficiency and minimal downtimeMaintain accurate records across internal systems for reporting and audit purposesHandle and resolve customer complaints from shared mailboxesInvestigate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsSupport the Customer Account Team with operational and technical assistanceAnalyse claims and complaint data to identify trends and improve processesProvide general administrative and operational support during peak periodsProduce daily, weekly, and monthly reports highlighting performance and risksEnsure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policiesUndertake additional duties as required ..... full job details .....
