are one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of specialised alloy products for the Automotive, Motorsport, Marine and Military Industries.Renowned for our high quality products and first class service, we distribute our large range of products and services throughout the World.ACCOUNTS / OFFICE MANAGER LOCATION: HaverhillFull Time permanent contract – 5 days (39.5 hours) per week 08:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 08:00am to 1:30pm Friday.We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accounts / Office Manager to join our busy and vibrant team in support of our ambitious growth plans. This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm and Friday 08:00am - 1:30pm, based in Haverhill in Suffolk.The ideal candidate would have previous experience in an office management role as well as having a strong and experienced background in Accounts using Sage Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll and Microsoft Office applications. You will have ideally worked in a similar environment within a small company and be adept at working in a varied and busy role. You must be a confident communicator with the ability to multitask and approach your work with a positive attitude.Key Responsibilities Include:Reception duties meeting and greeting visitorsIncoming call answering and dealing with incoming enquiries via phone and emailProviding administration support to the MD and Office teamGenerating Daily Invoice and Dispatch PaperworkSales and Purchase ledger dutiesCredit control duties including chasing overdue payments and statement reconciliationsBank reconciliation / Sales and Purchase reconciliationPreparation of weekly cashflow / payment planProcessing of quarterly VAT Returns and complianceSubmitting PAYE to HMRCProcessing monthly Payroll for approximately 15 StaffProcessing month end and year end management accountsAssisting with the development and implementation of new internal processes, systems and softwareVarious general daily company administration duties as requiredOther bookkeeping and ad hoc tasks as requiredPersonal specification:Well developed IT skills – Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll, Microsoft Office / ExcelConscientious, ambitious, self-motivated, respectful and drivenAppreciates the importance of following agreed processes, but also thinks creatively about improving processesExcellent communications skillsMotivated with good time management skills and the ability to prioritiseA team player who is willing to be flexible with a proactive and ‘can do’ attitudeAccuracy and attention to detailPunctual and reliableBenefits include:Competitive salary together with healthy annual pay reviews, plus an annual bonus based on revenue (discretionary)28 days holiday (Pro rata - including statutory days)Company pension schemeCompany eventsUniform providedFree parking on siteThis is a great opportunity for someone who would like to become part of a fantastic and fun team of people working for one of the UK’s leading and most respected companies in their field.
