As part of the continued development of its Financial Services function, the firm is now seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join the team.The OpportunityThis is a key role responsible for overseeing the Firm''s non-US financial services function, ensuring compliance with accounting practices, policies and regulatory requirements. The Senior Management Accountant will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to support financial control, reporting and strategic planning across international offices. Key responsibilities include:Overseeing compliance with UK Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering regulations, implementing and strengthening quality controls where requiredLeading the SRA annual audit process, including gathering supporting documentation, responding to queries and recommending process improvementsPreparing and submitting the annual PSA return in conjunction with managementParticipating in month-end and year-end close processes for all non-US offices, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations and journal entriesPreparing annual financial plans for non-US offices and conducting variance analysis throughout the yearWorking closely with the tax team to ensure accurate and timely completion of non-US tax returns and auditsManaging relationships with external accountants, consultants, auditors and ..... full job details .....
