Summary and purpose of position: To provide full operational support to the Head of Finance and the Finance Department by carrying out duties as required ensuring achievement of the Department/Company functions, objectives and deadlines. Also acting as deputy in the absence of the Head of Finance, supporting the senior management team. Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts.Manage the credit control function - responsible for the reconciliation of Customer accounts, chasing and allocation of cash payments, resolving issues with overdue invoices and liaising with the Quality/Sales/Logistics Departments to resolve debit note queries.Prepare and process monthly journals including for stock, depreciation, loan interest, prepayments, accruals, maintenance spares and tooling.Control the general ledger, through housekeeping and month end reconciliations.Assist with developing cost centre reporting in partnership with operational departments.Assist with the preparation of cash flow forecasts.Assist with the preparation of budgets and ..... full job details .....
