Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - SEMH Support - North LondonFull-Time June 2026 Start Long-Term OpportunityTradewind Recruitment are currently working with a supportive and inclusive school in North London, seeking a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs from June 2026.This rewarding role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and making a positive impact on students'' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal development.The successful candidate will work closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.The Role:Provide classroom and pastoral support to students with SEMH needsSupport students on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groupsAssist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategiesBuild positive and trusting relationships with students and staffSupport students both inside and outside of the classroomThe Ideal Candidate:Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needsA calm, patient, and resilient approachStrong communication and behaviour management skillsAbility to build positive relationships with studentsMust be proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting student wellbeingThe School Offers:A supportive and experienced leadership teamStrong pastoral support systemsOpportunities for training ..... full job details .....
