Overview

Information Governance Officer (Ref: IGO)Salary: £25,100.40 per annum (FTE £30,957.16pa)30 hours per week– flexible, remote/hybrid working options are available.Are you a highly organised administrator? If yes, we would like to hear from you, to support our legal team to respond to Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.Responsibilities

In this role you will be processing all enquiries using the Council’s IT systems, chasing the provision of information and preparing responses to be sent to the public.It is an interesting and varied role, which involves liaising with the public, staff in all Council departments and external organisations.Qualifications and Skills

You will need a GCSE in Maths and English at Grade C/Level 4 or above to apply for this role.You will also demonstrate a high standard of communication both written and verbal, be highly organised with excellent IT skills and attention to detail.You will also have an inquisitive mind to find out where to source information.The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.Values and Safeguarding
