Location: Cambridge (CB25) Duration: Permanent Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 Job Reference: 35724 We are looking for a Service Technician to join a company based just outside Cambridge to assist with fault finding and repair of high-end domestic equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining company databases and liaising with other departments as required. Responsibilities Diagnose, Repair and test customer units Diagnose, Repair, test and re-work of production units to finished goods standard Test and repair of sub-assemblies and components returned from customers and return to stock where appropriate Liaise with customer support as necessary to facilitate progress of units through the department if more fault information required Assist with implementation of running changes and modifications to finished goods stock if require Provide documentation as required Requirements Electronic and mechanical assembly skills - preferably City and Guilds or HNC in electronics / servicing Soldering skills Experience of audio / hi fi repair would be beneficial as would previous experience of working in a service / repair environment Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply ..... full job details .....
