Contract MOT Tester County Council Fleet Workshop Location: Cumberland Rate: £32.00 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd) Contract Length: Ongoing Hours: Monday to Friday, hours per week The Role: We re recruiting on behalf of a County Council Fleet Services Department for an experienced MOT Tester to join their professional workshop team. You ll be carrying out MOT inspections on a range of council vehicles, ensuring compliance with DVSA standards and maintaining the highest levels of safety and accuracy.Responsibilities: Conduct Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.Identify and report vehicle defects accurately.Carry out minor repairs and adjustments when required.Ensure all documentation and records are completed correctly.Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment. Requirements: Valid MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 and 7 essential)Minimum of 2 years recorded testing experienceNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)Full UK driving licenceStrong attention to detail and commitment to high standards Why Apply?
