Trade Compliance Officer North London We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to support the Head of Legal in ensuring full compliance with UK and international legal and regulatory requirements across a highly regulated engineering and defence environment.This role will play a key part in embedding a strong culture of compliance, managing risk, and supporting the business across all departments including Sales, Programmes, Service Support and Procurement. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including the UK Bribery Act 2010, GDPR, and Data Protection Act 2018Implement, review and monitor internal compliance policies and proceduresConduct third-party due diligence and transaction risk assessmentsComplete Data Protection Impact Assessments and manage subject access requestsAdvise on compliance-related contractual matters (UK and international)Support compliance training and promote ethical business practicesInvestigate potential non-compliance and assist with internal and external auditsSupport customer due diligence and reporting requirements About YouProven experience in a broad compliance role (Defence or regulated sector preferred)Strong knowledge of anti-bribery, data protection, and wider compliance frameworksUnderstanding of corruption, money laundering and sanctions risksAnalytical, detail-oriented and commercially awareConfident communicator, able to influence at all levelsDegree qualified; legal or compliance ..... full job details .....
