QC Technician - Job Summary
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
Pay: £12.65 per hour

The QC Technician will inspect, assemble, and package laboratory consumables. You will operate labelling/packaging equipment, complete paperwork, support quality checks, and help other departments when needed.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and labelling equipment
• Print labels and complete batch paperwork
• Follow material and production process steps
• Perform in-process and final product inspections
• Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance
• Enter downtime data and process batch records
• Support other production tasks when required

Requirements
Experience

• Required: 1+ year in manufacturing, production, lab, or similar environment
• Preferred: Experience in cGMP or any laboratory setting

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills

• Good communication
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Able to follow instructions
• Can multitask and prioritise

Work Environment

• PPE provided (full lab attire, hair tied back)
• Onsite lab/manufacturing setting
• Team-based environment

Top Skills Needed

1. 1+ year relevant experience OR scientific-related education
2. Any cGMP or lab experience (preferred)
3. Good documentation and equipment-handling skills
