Cleaning Operative

Reporting to | Cleaning Operations Team Leader

Location | Nylacast Group, Thurmaston Boulevard, Leicester, LE4 9LN

Working Days | Monday to Friday

Hours | 4 hours per day (20 hours per week), working the afternoon shift 1pm to 5pm ideally, however flexibility within hours of work is required as business needs dictate

Pay Rate | -12.80 per hour

Brief over of the-Cleaning Operative

The successful applicant will be part of the cleaning team who will assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the site performing routine and deep clean tasks while adhering to health and safety standards.

Cleaning Operative-Experience & Requirements

Main duties include:

• To ensure that all areas are maintained to a clean and hygienic level as indicate by the H&S regulations
• Emptying bins, polishing, vacuuming, cleaning canteens/kitchen and washrooms to a high standard
• Develop and maintain effective communication links with line manager and fellow colleagues to ensure the above
• Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and schedules.

Cleaning Operative-Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Ability to work within a Team to provide high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering thorough cleaning results.
• Reliable with excellent time management skills to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintaining hygiene standards.
