Financial Controller Merseyside / Lancashire Salary 75,000 per annum An Exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a business within the Manufacturing sector that sells their products via a variety of channels. The Opportunity The business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take on a wide range of duties including statutory and management reporting including year-end, whilst directing three reports within the Finance team. Duties of the role will include Hours Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Produce Month end accounts and Quarterly forecasts, offer insight and analysis and prepare/submit quarterly HMRC VAT returns. Oversee monthly payment runs and perform reconciliations to ensure accounts are kept up to date. Preparation of forecasts and budgets and reporting monthly on variances. Oversee Accounts Payable, Credit Control and Payroll, and ensure employees are following correct procedures in line with company policies. Cashflow Management, Cash Optimisation. Support the Commercial team, mitigating risk on inventory purchases, reviewing stock positions and analyzing sales/trading data to identify trends and opportunities. Support the Directors on a variety of strategic plans and projects.
