Position Available: Functional Integration Engineer Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus andamp; Other Benefits Location: Stevenage About the role This role will involve the planning and conduct of integration and compatibility proving activities, and developing the in-depth knowledge of how the system works. The role builds good interpersonal skills, interfacing with the different Project customers to plan and achieve the key design verification and evidence through the maturity steps for the GF and qualification campaigns. Responsibilities include:Collaboration with the systems and design teams to generate test requirements to ensure comprehensive system level test coverage.Generation of test instructions, test reports and supporting safety documentation/processes.Integration of multiple variants of missile and launcher subsystems and weapon system integration in trials and operational configurations.Conduct proving test to demonstrate system design and robustness.Support integration of trials test equipment for use across proving activities.Coordination with design teams to diagnose problems and determine design solutions.Provide support to trials defect investigations and analysis of data as requiredDefinition of test and trials equipment requirements.Experience needed: Practical Experience of hardware/software integration and test activities.Demonstrated ability to work closely with other engineering teams - particularly Systems Design and Equipment Design ..... full job details .....
