My client, a diverse, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their already-established team of expert engineers, near the unofficial capital of Yorkshire, Leeds.Essential Criteria:A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or other similar disciplineExtensive experience of working with flood risk and drainage strategiesDemonstrable experience of producing Flood Risk Reports, Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), and working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.)Knowledge of the relevant software packages, including TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, etc.Experience of working with a team of diverse individuals, providing mentorship and leadership to junior colleaguesDemonstrable experience of developing and managing stakeholder relations with a range of clientsIt would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to have the following:Experience of managing teams and/or projectsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant 3D design softwareGood time management skillsExcellent communication skillsIn your exciting role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, you will be joining a team of highly experienced design engineers, working on a number of varied, high-profile projects across the region.
