OverviewSenior Principal System Architect - SoC Platforms / Consumer Devices

We are currently partnered with an industry leading semiconductor company in the UK looking to expand their team with a Senior Principal System Architect to take a leading role in the development of cutting edge SoC solutions for next- mobile and compute devices. This position is a high-impact and strategic position interacting with a globally distributed team.

This is a permanent role, offering hybrid working (2-3 days onsite per week), based out of Cambridge UK.

Full relocation, and visa sponsorship (when required), are available with this position.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine technology roadmaps in collaboration with engineering and product planning teams.

Define comprehensive platform architectures encompassing hardware, software, and tools.

Collaborate across architecture and core technology teams to align platform and feature development with SoC requirements.

Evaluate architectural proposals and IP features, providing leadership to align hardware, software, and platform groups.

Represent the company in customer meetings, incorporating feedback into architectural decisions.

Create high-level architecture specifications to guide engineering teams.

Design experiments and analyses to address architectural questions using appropriate tools and methods.

Communicate technical concepts effectively across diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Proven track record in smartphone/tablet SoC architecture or related work experience.

Deep technical background and credibility in system architecture.

Demonstrated ability to drive progress in ambiguous environments.

Collaborative and influential across organizations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.

Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MS or PhD highly desired.
