Overview

The University of Law Business School provides industry accredited courses (CMI, CIM and ACCA) including Business Management, Marketing, Law and Accounting. Designed specifically with employability in mind.We are currently looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join our academic team in our centrally located Manchester campus. We are looking to hear from applicants with an interest in project management. Reporting to our Academic Manager, you will be providing tuition across the University of Law Business School course portfolio. These will include delivering postgraduate and undergraduate BSc courses to the best possible standard. You will enjoy being challenged by students and course content in equal measure and be able to adapt to the different learning styles of students and methods of course delivery. You will be eager to share your expertise, and the role will include marking in-course assignments and final assessments, as well as supporting students and dealing with queries.As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer at The University of Law Business School, you will:

Teach and assess across The University of Law Business School course portfolio in subjects as assigned, including teaching and assessing a range of written and presentation skills and giving individual feedback on student performances.

Assist in the preparation of assignments and assessments.

Participate in course design and review.

Act as an academic coach to students, including being available to discuss student problems as they arise, their performance and academic progression.

Requirements for Lecturer positionsUndergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject

Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA) or equivalent or willingness to work towards

Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE)

Please note: if you do not currently hold HEA fellowship, enrollment in the programme is required (delivered and financially supported by the University), usually within 12 months of passing probation.
