We are pleased to be supporting an organisation in the education sector who are currently recruiting for a Head of Payroll, Pensions and Systems to join them on a 12 month FTC basis. Reporting into the Director of Finance this role will be responsible for managing a small team. Responsibilities include:Overseeing the payroll and pensions operations for permanent and casual staffProvide expertise on payroll and pension issuesAdministration of four pension schemesAdvise senior management on pension scheme developmentsMaintain, update and create salary scales on the HR and Payroll systemDay to day management and supervision of the payroll team Experience required:Expeirence of managing a payroll function within a medium or large sized organisationExcellent people management and leadership skillsiTrent experience is essentialExtensive pension experience, ideally with the following schemes: SAUL, USS, NHSSSExperience in Higher Education or NHS is desirable Benefits on offer:Hybrid working35 hour week with flexibility30 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas closure daysCompetitive pensions schemeInterest Free Season Ticket loans ..... full job details .....
