Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Blackburn Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 45,000 - 52,500 per annum, plus package. Our key client, A well-established engineering firm, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in metallics to drive process excellence for a range of aerospace applications. This confidential opportunity is ideal for individuals with a passion for technical advancement and process optimisation in a precision-driven environment. Role Overview In this role, you will develop and optimise production methods, ensuring that components are manufactured efficiently and meet stringent quality requirements. The position calls for a strong technical foundation in metallics manufacturing, process improvement, and compliance with aerospace standards. Core Responsibilities Reviewing manufacturing processes and work cross-functionally to enhance techniques such as machining and treatment processes for metallics. Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production excellence. Lead process validation, trials, and cost, quality, and performance improvements. Troubleshoot technical process challenges, maintaining production reliability and working with operators on the shop floor- RCA''s, Critical actions etc Champion continuous improvement initiatives targeting efficiency and waste reduction.
