Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Drylining Site Supervisor / QA Controller at RDK Drylining Ltd, located in Norman Road, Greenwich, London. The Site Supervisor / QA Controller will oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising site personnel, monitoring project progress, conducting quality assurance checks, maintaining safety protocols, and liaising with clients and project stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective execution of projects.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations on-site for drylining projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Supervise site personnel and subcontractors, coordinating activities to maintain progress and safety.
Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, reporting variances to project management.
Conduct quality assurance checks on workmanship and materials, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
Maintain and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and the public.
Liaise with clients, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors to ensure efficient and effective project execution from planning through completion.
Qualifications
Experience in site supervision and quality assurance in the construction industry
Knowledge of drylining techniques, partitioning, drywall systems, and suspended ceilings
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Ability to interpret and work from construction drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Understanding of health and safety regulations and practices
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
