We are seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager, working on high profile commercial office fit-out projects across the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional who is ready to step up from a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager role into project management.

The Role
You will support the delivery of projects valued between £10m – £20m, working closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership team. The role will be site focused, taking responsibility for coordinating teams, ensuring works are delivered to programme, quality, and safety standards, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through to handover
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Monitor progress against programme, identifying and resolving issues
• Maintain compliance with health & safety and quality standards
• Support with reporting, cost tracking, and risk management
• Act as a key point of contact for the client and stakeholders

About You

• Proven experience working on commercial office fit-out projects valued at £5m+
• Previous site based management experience, ideally as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager
• Strong leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and direct teams on site
• Ambitious, with a clear desire to progress into full Project Management
