Outreach Support Workers (BSL Level 2+) – Somerset

Do you have British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 (or above) training and want to use your skills to support individuals in their community?
We are seeking dedicated Outreach Support Workers in Somerset to provide personalised, non-regulated support to individuals experiencing hearing loss and communication barriers.
The Role
As an Outreach Support Worker, you will:

Work directly with individuals in their homes and communities, providing practical and emotional support.

Help people manage daily living tasks such as household organisation, attending appointments, shopping, and engaging in social activities.

Reduce isolation by empowering individuals to build independence, confidence, and community connections.

Collaborate with other professionals, services, and agencies, ensuring individuals access the support and resources they need.

Advocate for the rights, needs, and well-being of those you support.
What We’re Looking For

BSL Level 2 qualification (minimum) – higher levels welcome.
