Subject Specialist TutorLocation: LiverpoolPay: £30 per hour (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)Start Date: September 2025Contract Type: Full or Part Time, after school, long-termVision For Education are working with a local authority team to appoint subject specialist tutors who are passionate about providing high-quality, subject-specific education on an hourly basis in a 1:1 setting after school. Sessions may be online or face-to-face therefore the ideal candidate will be flexible in their approach and willing to adapt. This is a part-time opportunity, but hours can be increased to full time for the right candidate.Subjects include:• English,• Maths,• ScienceRequirementsThe desired Subject Specialist Tutor will have:- A teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, TESOL, CertEd etc.)- A subject specialism (Maths, English or Science)- Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 pupils, and those pupils with SEND- A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils- An ability to commit to regular tutoring sessions each week- Excellent communication skills- An ability to complete weekly reports of student s engagement and attendanceWhat we offer As a Subject Specialist Tutor, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
