Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Luton

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary school in Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed individual who is passionate about supporting children''s learning and development.

• Salary: -26,000 per annum
• Contract Type: Full-time

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging lessons and provide additional support to pupils where required. You will play a key role in helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support pupil learning
• Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Supporting pupils with varying abilities and needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
• Assisting with assessment and feedback where appropriate
• Ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working in a Primary school or similar setting
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
