Key Responsibilities:-

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 National Curriculum, focusing on both academic and personal development.-

Use a variety of assessment methods to track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.-

Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment that supports effective learning and pupil well-being.-

Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to teaching and learning across the school.-

Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress and fostering positive relationships within the school community.-

Actively participate in the wider school community, contributing to extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.-
Person Specification:-

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.-

Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, with experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.-

Proven ability to assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.-

Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive, focused, and productive learning environment.-

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.-

A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development.-
