Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic financial management of all the school’s finances, including Wigan Institute of Education and Trinity Teaching Alliance.Manage planning, development and co-ordination of cost-effective services concerned with finance, physical resources and contract operation.Have line management responsibility for administrative staff.Ensure delivery of business support services in line with the school’s aims and improvement plan.Provide support to Governors and the Headteacher in strategic planning and project management for large, whole-school issues and new initiatives.Monitor and record systems and coordinate administration of professional development/training.Demonstrate ambition to develop in the role and engage with available CPD.
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience in financial leadership or strategic financial management.Ability to work with senior stakeholders and partners (Wigan Institute of Education and Trinity Teaching Alliance).Strong planning, organisational and people management skills.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
