Responsibilities
Driving the successful technical delivery of high-quality projects from concept to completionTaking ownership of project outcomes, ensuring they meet commercial goals through proactive project controlPlaying a key role in securing new opportunities and nurturing strong, lasting client relationshipsInspiring other team members to perform at their best, fostering a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused team cultureChampioning Pick Everard’s reputation across the construction industry, helping to raise our profile and influencePromoting seamless collaboration across disciplines, teams, and with clients to ensure unified project success
About You / Requirements
Exceptional Structural Engineering knowledge with a deep understanding of key principles embedded in theory and practice, with a proactive approach to problem solvingExcellent verbal communication and the ability to communicate ideas and effectively work with both clients and members of the design teamExperience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice and methods of constructionFamiliarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software (Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds and STAAD Pro, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360)The ability and willingness to supervise/mentor employeesDesirable: Chartered membership of ICE or IStructEDesirable: motivation to undertake relevant CPD and to increase skills and knowledgeDesirable: experience in day-to-day control of resourcing, programming, planning and costsDesirable: effective team management skillsDesirable: excellent report writing and presentation skills
